Job Description
Matrix is hiring a Wind Turbine Technician for a long-term project in Vermillion, Alberta.
This project is an excellent opportunity for a skilled technician to take their career to the next level.
This role will provide:
- OT paid at 1.5 after 8 hours a day and on weekends.
- LOA of $120/day if workers find their own accommodations, or $45/day if candidates stay in client-provided accommodations.
- Flights will be provided as needed.
- 14/7 rotation with an option to work 5/2.
Scope of Work:
- Contributing to the construction, erection, and installation of wind turbines.
- Use prior experience to streamline the process.
- Participate in all work in an efficient and safe manner.
- Abide all regional safety and environmental codes and policies.
- The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal, communication, organization, and computer skills.
- You are an effective team player with a positive attitude, and you will support the Company's safety, quality, and environment programs.
Requirements:
- 1-5 years of experience in Wind Turbine erection and installation.
