Wind Turbine Technician

Job Description
CANEIL is seeking experienced and motivated Wind Technicians to support our growing portfolio of wind energy projects across multiple regions. We are looking for individuals with strong technical skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively within dynamic field environments.
Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on wind turbines, including tower, nacelle, and hub components. Lead and participate in safety meetings; ensure all work aligns with safety and environmental requirements. Execute retrofits, installations, and component modifications following work instructions and OEM guidelines. Conduct torquing, tensioning, and other mechanical tasks as part of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Manage tooling inventory and contribute to efficient field operations. Maintain detailed records, including daily tech trackers, reports, and related documentation.
Requirements
GWO certification is an asset.
Please include your WINDA ID in your resume if applicable. Prior experience in the wind energy industry (construction, maintenance, or service). Willingness and ability to travel and work in the U.S.Valid Canadian passport and citizenship are required for visa eligibility.
Strong commitment to safety and ability to work confidently at heights and in demanding physical conditions. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in English.Schedule & Compensation
Typical schedule:
Monday to Saturday, 10-hour shifts
, with occasional Sunday work as required. Based on project needs. Competitive compensation, overtime opportunities, and ongoing training and development provided.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 per hour
