Duties:

- Safely operate a commercial truck to transport goods and materials to and from specified destinations

- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as wheeled loaders, winch and or other heavy equipment

- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving and ensure the safe delivery of goods

- Inspect the truck before and after each trip to ensure it is in good working condition

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption

- Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules

Experience:

- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a truck driver or in a similar role

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record

- Strong knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures

- Experience operating heavy equipment, such as forklifts, is preferred

- Familiarity with freight transportation regulations and best practices

Skills:

- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency

- Ability to navigate various routes and road conditions effectively

- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping and safe cargo handling

- Good communication skills to interact with dispatchers, team members, and clients

- Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading activities and long hours on the road
