Wills and Estates Law Clerk (Hybrid)

Job description

Our client is a leading full-service Toronto firm who is looking for a Wills & Estates Law Clerk to join its Wills & Estates Group.

Your new role

In this new role you will be responsible for preparing and reviewing Applications for Certificates of Appointment, Distribution Plans, Releases, Reports, Estate Accounts, and Wills & Powers of Attorney. Preparing and managing client files; Preparing applications to the court for probate and maintaining records to prepare distributions.

What you will need to succeed

To be considered for this position, you must have 4+ years relevant experience in estates planning and administration. The ideal Candidate is a self-starter with excellent organizational skills, positive attitude, and ability to work well in a team environment. Familiarity with Estateably and/or Windup/Emergent programs. Experience with real estate will be considered an asset.
