Job Summary

CPLF is seeking compassionate individuals with a

wheelchair-accessible home

to join our team as

Support Roommates and Respite Providers

. In this role, you will directly support an adult with a disability, helping them participate in daily activities, community events, and personal development opportunities. This is a fulfilling opportunity to make a lasting impact in someone's life.

Responsibilities

Provide daily living support to an adult with a disability Encourage participation in recreational, social, and community activities Support personal growth and overall well-being Maintain a safe, inclusive, and supportive home environment

Requirements

Wheelchair-accessible home (home inspection required before progressing to next stage) Police Clearance with Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 2 years) Empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills Experience in disability support is an asset Reliable vehicle and valid Class 5 driver's licence Must carry

$2 million

third-party liability vehicle insurance if hired Valid

First Aid Level C

(within 3 months of hire) General Commercial Liability Insurance (required upon hire)

Medication Administration Crisis Prevention Intervention Abuse Protocol Positive Behaviour Support
