The Wellness Coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning, implementing and evaluating hospital-wide wellness initiatives that support the health, well-being and engagement of staff, physicians and volunteers. Working under the guidance of the Manager, Healthy Workplace, the Wellness Coordinator will foster a culture of wellness by assisting to develop programs and resources that address physical, mental, emotional and social health.
Accountabilities:
Coordinate and support wellness initiatives such as health promotion campaigns, lunch and learns, health screenings and staff wellness events
Support the preparation of wellness communications including newsletters, bulletins, digital materials, and promotional campaigns in consultation with the communications team as needed
Collaborate with internal partners to deliver wellness activities and increase participation across departments
Collect, organize and track wellness-related data (e.g., participation rates, feedback, survey results) to support evaluation and reporting
Help organize logistics for in-person and virtual wellness activities across multiple sites, including room bookings, scheduling and coordination with vendors and internal departments
Assist in the development, planning and execution of the annual wellness calendar aligned with Osler's healthy workplace strategy
Maintain wellness program materials, resources and internal webpages, ensuring content is accurate, timely and engaging
Demonstrates a commitment to customer service when dealing with internal/external partnerships
Ensure confidentiality and compliance with Osler's policies when handling employee wellness data and information
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in health sciences, health promotion, kinesiology, psychology, human resources or a related field preferred
Minimum one to three years of experience coordinating wellness, engagement or health promotion programs, preferably in a corporate or health care setting
Experience working with diverse employee groups and applying adult learning principles
Strong organization and project coordination skills; able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated ability to engage and motivate others
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher)
Experience with communications tools (e.g., Canva, SharePoint, Staffbbase) is an asset
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrates values consistent with Osler and is committed to fostering a healthy and positive work environment
Ability to be adaptable in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment
Excellent attendance and proven work record
Previous experience working in a unionized or multi-site environment is an asset

Additional Information
Hours: Currently days in a hybrid role that functions remotely but requires essential, regular onsite weekly work (subject to change in accordance with operational requirements)
Salary:
Minimum: $31.81
Maximum: $39.76
