Reporting to the Employee Health & Wellness Consultant, the Wellness Coordinator provides leadership in research, development, and deployment of the wellness strategy, which includes the employee recognition program as well as the Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP).The Wellness Coordinator will see to the design of the wellness strategy programs, which are inspired by best practices and trends. The coordinator should remain up to date on organizational realities and needs so that their initiatives are implemented with a focus on continuous improvement. They will work closely with key partners (both internal and external) by consulting and providing continuous support. The proposed strategy will present a variety of initiatives focused on a fulfilling work environment.The chosen candidate will actively participate in promoting the wellness strategy and the Employee & Family Assistance Program and may be required to travel within their area to ensure implementation of the strategy. They must also establish a communication and marketing plan to consult and inform employees about this wellness strategy.All these duties are performed in collaboration with the human resources team, managers, stakeholders, and agencies that have a role to play in the well-being of our employees.The position entails but is not limited to the following:General:
