We are seeking a
Digital Marketing & Communications Lead
to join our team in an onsite, part-time or full-time role that combines creative marketing leadership with in-person community engagement. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, loves connecting with people, and is passionate about health, wellness, and storytelling through digital media.
About the Role
As the Digital Marketing & Communications Lead, you will be the bridge between Thrive Urban Wellness and our community -- both online and in-person. You'll lead our marketing strategy across multiple platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, and Shopify) while also playing a key role in boutique operations, brand partnerships, and event promotion.
You will:
Create and implement monthly marketing email campaigns for products, services, wellness events, and blogs
Capture and edit engaging in-house photo and video content
Maintain brand-aligned communications across all digital platforms
Support boutique retail operations and assist wellness practitioners with administrative tasks
Build and nurture relationships with customers, patients, community members, and brand partners
Key Responsibilities
Communications & Community Engagement
Provide administrative support, including bookings, scheduling, payment processing, and responding to phone/email inquiries
Manage retail sales systems for in-store and online wellness shop
Deliver excellent customer service and foster strong relationships in person and online
Respond to Google reviews via Google Business Profile
Support wellness practitioners with operational and promotional needs
Digital Marketing Leadership
Develop and maintain monthly content calendars:
2-3 social media posts/week
6 Instagram Story series/week
1 blog/month
1 email campaign/month
Create engaging text, image, and video content that reflects our brand voice and values
Research trends, monitor performance, and adapt strategies accordingly
Capture and edit in-house content for marketing and events
Track and analyze performance metrics; prepare monthly analytics reports
Manage Shopify website updates, event listings, and email campaigns

Qualifications
2+ years of digital marketing experience
Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field (preferred, not required)
Customer service and retail sales experience
Proficient with:
Shopify commerce platform (POS & online store)
Google Suite
Canva Pro
Plann by Linktree scheduling app
Knowledge of SEO best practices and AI-assisted marketing tools
Strong communication, multitasking, and analytical skills
