The Opportunity




Employment Type: Permanent Full Time 1 FTE


Hours of Work: 0800-1600




Wages: $18.70-$24.34/hr

Reporting to the Employee Wellness manager, the wellness administrator will help to administer and support to the wellness program functions, including Occupational Health and Safety, Abilities Management, and wellness. Act as an ambassador and role model of the values, vision and mission of GSS, Foster and maintain effective relationships simultaneously with peers, managers, staff, clients, families, physicians and volunteers and work in supportive partnership with other employees in Occupational Health, Safety and Wellness.


Educational and Experience Qualifications



Administrative certificate or equivalent education or experience

Work related Experience:

Administrative office experience Health and/or nonprofit sector administrative function experience Knowledge of wellness, disability and/or OHS preferred Experience with databases and preparation of reports Excellent computer and clerical skills Ability to work in Office 365, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook.

Communication Skills:

Able to analyze, interpret and prepare statistical data Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to deal effectively with conflict in a diplomatic and professional manner Adept at written and oral communication with internal and external customers Able to prepare power point presentations, posters and draft communication materials Exhibit an open and sincere approach by demonstrating respect and compassion for everyone equally Maintain an individual's dignity and self worth during conversations. Able to maintain privacy and confidentiality in a legislated environment. Excellent active listening skills

Requirements:
