Position Summary

:


Dual reporting to the Director, Medical Affairs and to the Manager, Employee Health, Safety and Wellness, the Wellbeing Coordinator is an enthusiastic and energetic hospital program coordinator and activities planner helping to create a safe, healthy and supportive workplace. The Wellbeing Coordinator plans and facilitates wellness initiatives and events for employees and physicians at WRHN. They assist in the implementation and operation of the wellness program through the administration and organization of mental and physical well-being initiatives across sites.


Responsibilities:



Coordinates, plans, and facilitates mental health and wellness activities for employees and physicians at WRHN Plans and implements events and activities that promote a healthy lifestyle. Plans and coordinates team activities that enrich the mental health, wellness and spirit of employees Creates posters, newsletter content, webage and social media posts to promote and encourage engagement of hospital staff and physicians in wellness programming Compiles statistical summaries of participant data, attendance, and program utilization to ensure proper detailed program evaluation Assists with Well-being consultants with the administration and implementation of wellness programming

Position Requirements:



A diploma/degree in health education, workplace well-being, psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field required. Three or more years of experience in wellness program development and one year of health care sector experience. Ability to work cooperatively with people at all levels with respect. Able to implement programs to comply with WRHN's policies and procedures . Minimum three (3) years recent, related job experience. Preference given to health education and wellness program development experience. High level of self-motivation and highly organized time management skills. Demonstrated analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability. High level of computer literacy, multi-media creativity and knowledge of various software programs including Microsoft Suite, Canva or other platforms
