Job Overview

We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced

Welding and Fabrication Supervisor

to lead our team of Journeyman and Apprentice Welders. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing day-to-day welding operations, ensuring project requirements are met with precision, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support a team of welders, providing clear direction and hands-on guidance. Interpret and assign work orders and fabrication drawings to team members. Ensure all welding and fabrication work is performed in accordance with company procedures and safety standards. Perform quality checks to maintain high workmanship standards and ensure compliance with project specifications. Coordinate with project managers and other departments to meet production schedules and deadlines. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to fabrication processes, materials, or equipment. Mentor and support the development of apprentice welders, fostering a positive and growth-oriented work environment. Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work area and promote a strong safety culture across the team.

Qualifications:

Journeyman Welder certification or equivalent experience. Minimum 3-5 years of welding/fabrication experience, including supervisory or lead hand responsibilities. Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and welding procedures. Proven leadership skills with a focus on team development, accountability, and motivation. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail, with a commitment to producing quality work. Mechanical aptitude and hands-on knowledge of cutting, grinding, and fabrication tools.

Preferred Experience:

Manufacturing or production environment experience. Familiarity with a variety of welding techniques and materials. Previous experience with scheduling, workflow coordination, and production tracking.

Pay: $37.00-$47.00 per hour
