The Fence Store is a Calgary based fence company that is committed to doing great things in the fence industry. We are looking for a detailed-oriented person, who can run our shop/yard and be able to weld when necessary. The successful candidate must be driven by results and teamwork

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:

Operate forklift to move materials and products in the warehouse and production area

Manage inventory control, ensuring stock levels are update in the computer accurately

Perform order picking and packing with high attention to detail

Pick up supplies from our various vendors

Maintain a clean organized and safe work area/environment in the workplace

Deliver materials to various job sites when needed

Mig/stick welding a must, as you will be fabricating Ornamental Iron and Chain Link Gates

On Site welding when required

Training new employees

Assist the crews in mobilizing and demobilizing

Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner

Daily entering purchases and Sale Orders into computer

SKILLS AND ASSETS

Must have a Class 5 Driver's License (NO GDL) with a clean record

Be able to drive a truck and trailer in a safe manner

Must have effective verbal and written skills

Ability to work in a team environment

Strong Organizational Skills

Ability to lift at least 30 pounds is required

Must demonstrate manual dexterity and willingness to learn

Must be able to multi-task

Must have computer skills

Welding ticket not required

Monday thru Friday Shift 7:00 - 3:30 PM, with occasional overtime and working Saturdays.
