Job Description
Frontier Petroleum is a successful petroleum construction contractor with offices in Toronto and Ottawa.
We are looking to add several structural and piping field welders/fitters to our team, primarily working in Toronto. We will be working outside all year, so you must be able to work in various weather conditions.
Structural Steel:
Fitting, welding and installing screw piles, pipe supports, catwalks and other steel structural components.
Responsibilities include:
- read and interpret drawings and specifications
- maintain weld maps and NDE requirements for the work
- cutting, fitment and install of final components
- stick welding experience in 4 positions
- take part in daily Job Safety Analysis and Field Level Risk Assessments
- work to company and client safety requirements
Piping:
Weld piping to B31.1 and B31.3. Must have experience in x-ray quality work. Most of the piping is prefab from shop. Welds will typically be positional.

- stick welding experience in 6G position

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
