Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical background and the ability to work with various materials and tools to install, repair, and maintain piping systems. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Install, assemble, and repair piping systems according to specifications and blueprints. Utilize welding techniques to join pipes and fittings securely. Operate press brake machines for bending and shaping metal components as needed. Rig materials and equipment for safe transport and installation. Fabricate custom piping solutions based on project requirements. Conduct regular inspections of piping systems to identify issues or necessary repairs. Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure accurate dimensions during installation. Collaborate with team members and other trades to complete projects efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

Proficient in welding techniques with experience in various welding processes. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipefitting tasks. Experience with rigging techniques for safe handling of heavy materials. Ability to build and fabricate custom solutions based on project specifications. Familiarity with operating cranes for lifting heavy components safely.

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $36.48-$52.86 per hour

Expected hours: 34 - 44 per week
