Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabricating, with hands-on experience in various mechanical tasks. This role requires a proactive approach to work, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members. The Laborer will be responsible for supporting various projects through diverse tasks that may include welding, assembly, and operating machinery.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and machinery including MIG welding equipment. Read blueprints to understand project specifications. Assist in the assembly of components. Utilize calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precision in manufacturing processes. Follow both metric and imperial measurements Lift up to 50lbs Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow on site Follow safety protocols while operating forklifts and other heavy equipment Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency

Experience

Proven experience in manufacturing environments is preferred. Familiarity with rigging techniques, mechanical knowledge, and welding processes (MIG). Experience operating cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery is advantageous Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical documents. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to projects Understanding of assembly processes is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
