What you'll do

Fabricate and assemble metal components using MIG, TIG, and FCAW welding techniques. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of projects. Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery. Perform quality inspections on completed work to ensure compliance with ASME codes & standards. Utilize measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers for accurate measurements. Lead a team of welders and fitters, providing guidance and support throughout the fabrication process. Manage rigging operations for heavy equipment and materials during assembly. Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to all safety protocols.

Basic qualifications

Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, and soldering techniques. Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.

Preferred qualifications

Experience operating forklifts. Knowledge of machining processes related to metal fabrication. Strong mathematical skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
