Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter (lead hand) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong structural knowledge and be proficient in welding and fabrication techniques. This role requires the ability to read and interpret schematics, operate various machinery, and assemble components with precision. The Welder/Fitter will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality production standards while adhering to safety protocols.

Duties

Perform welding tasks using various techniques and equipment to fabricate metal components. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine specifications. Assemble parts and components accurately, ensuring they meet quality standards. Operate machinery such as press brake machines and cranes safely and efficiently. Conduct basic math calculations for measurements and material requirements. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve production processes. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations at all times.

Experience

Proven experience in welding, fitting, or related fields is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Familiarity with machining processes is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations are essential.

Pay: $28.00-$34.00 per hour
