Position Summary



The Welder is responsible for the fabrication, welding, and assembly of stainless-steel modular process systems in compliance with TKMS standards and client specifications. This role ensures that all welding is completed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency, while maintaining compliance with ASME codes and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities



Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS). Perform high-purity orbital welding and pressure welding on stainless steel piping and structural components. Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and fitting. Ensure welds are properly cleaned and identified with welder ID, date, and spool markings. Maintain welding equipment, tools, and work area in safe operating condition. Follow all TKMS safety procedures, including PPE use and safe work practices. Collaborate with fitters, inspectors, and the QA team to ensure weld quality meets specifications. Record work completed and assist in maintaining accurate weld documentation.

What We're Looking For (Must-Haves)



Minimum 5 years of experience as a welder in a manufacturing or fabrication environment. Valid CWB welding ticket (TIG/GTAW preferred). Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and WPS. Knowledge of stainless steel welding processes and procedures. Ability to operate grinders, polishing tools, and welding equipment safely. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred Qualifications



Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or food manufacturing industries. Experience with orbital welding equipment. Familiarity with ASME BPE and B31.3 standards.
