We are seeking a skilled

Welder/Fitter

to join our growing team.

Position Overview

The Welder/Fitter will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components according to technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. The ideal candidate is an experienced tradesperson who demonstrates precision, safety awareness, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and welding procedures. Fit, tack, weld, and assemble metal components accurately to specifications. Perform MIG, welding. Use grinders, and other fabrication tools safely and effectively. Inspect completed welds and assemblies for quality and compliance. Operate and maintain welding and fabrication equipment. Follow health and safety protocols, ensuring a safe work environment. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet project deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Welder/Fitter (agricultural, structural, or custom fabrication). Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings. Strong knowledge of various welding processes and techniques. Ability to work with a variety of metals (mild steel, stainless steel). Experience with layout, fitting, and fabrication is required. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
