We have an immediate need for an welder, fitting experience and previous work on stainless is a benefit . The successful candidate will have 5+ years of experience, and be a professional individual capable showing that they are capable of taking care of the equipment, the job, and the position, within a safety first, air conditioned environment.

Compensation



Our compensation package is very competitive, including RRSP match and profit sharing, and hourly wages reflective of the level of skill brought by the individual with overtime opportunities available.

Details



We have an open positions for a welder experienced in custom fabrication. The position are on day (7:30am - 4pm) or afternoon shift 4pm-12:30am) . Afternoon shift carries a shift premium.

Must Have

manipulate large work pieces safely with the lift truck and overhead crane use the appropriate hand tools, as required to prepare pieces for the next operation fit and weld to achieve drawing requirements work with different materials (most often HSS and 44W Plate) of various size and thickness 5+ years of experience Be a motivated self-starter, punctual, dependable Professional, in speech and conduct Pride in their work and show attention to detail Adhere to company policies, a safe worker personally and mindful of those working close Ability to read Engineering Drawings and understand GD&T Good Safety record Excellent troubleshooting skills to resolve issues with sound judgment Strong mathematical skills Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to tack, inspect for geometry, weld, inspect weld quality Related trade or pre-apprenticeship training Experience in a custom machine shop with large scale parts Familiarity with lift truck, crane, hand tools and band saw

This is a Permanent Fulltime position.

Our work week consists of 44 hours. Overtime is often available, but not mandatory. Our compensation is based on experience and ability.
