We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will perform precision welding and fitting tasks to assemble metal components according to blueprints and specifications. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-concious, and capable of working independently and collaboratively.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and dimensional drawings. Perform MIG, and TIG welding on various metals (Steel, Stainless Steel, and Aluminum) Fit, tack, and weld structural components using hand and power tools. Conduct quality inspections of welds using visual and measurement tools, ensure compliance with CWB/TSSA standards Maintain welding equipment and consumables, escalate any maintenance or supply needs. Collaborate with engineers, fabricators, and quality inspectors to resolve fit-up or welding issues Adhere to all safety policies, wear appropriate PPE, and promote a zero-accident culture.

ualifications

Completion of a recognized Welder/Fitter apprenticeship program or equivalent trade certification Minimum 5 years of hands-on welding and fittings experience in a production environment Valid CWB and or TSSA welding certificates for applicable processes (MIG & TIG) Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and Welding symbols. Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with precision measuring tools (Calipers, gauges, squares) Physical stamina to lift up to 50 Lbs., Stand for extended periods, and work in various positions

Pay: $21.24-$34.01 per hour
