Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Welder/Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in various welding techniques and fabrication processes. This role involves working in manufacturing environments, where precision and adherence to safety standards are paramount. The Welder/Fitter will be responsible for interpreting blueprints, performing welding tasks, and ensuring the quality of fabricated components. TIG WELDING EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

Duties

Interpret and read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Perform MIG and TIG on various materials including aluminum and stainless piping Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to fabricate components according to specifications. Ensure compliance with ASME codes & standards during all welding activities. Perform quality checks on finished products using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while meeting deadlines.

Requirements

Proven experience in welding and fabrication within construction or manufacturing settings. Proficiency in MIG and TIG techniques along with mechanical knowledge. Familiarity with using hand tools, power tools, press brake machines, plasma cutting equipment, and soldering techniques. Strong understanding of blueprint reading and basic math skills for accurate measurements. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
