Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to read blueprints and assemble components accurately. This role involves working with various materials. This position is primarily TIG welding, experience in this is required. The Welder/Fitter will be responsible for ensuring high-quality standards in all welding and fitting tasks.

Responsibilities

Fabricate and assemble metal structures according to specifications and blueprints. Perform welding tasks using MIG and TIG techniques on various materials. Use calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precise dimensions during fabrication. Operate press brake machines for bending and shaping metal components. Rig and secure materials for welding processes to ensure safety and stability. Conduct machining operations as needed to achieve desired shapes and finishes. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring they meet industry standards. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve production efficiency.

Requirements

Proven experience in welding and fitting, with proficiency in various welding techniques. Strong understanding of blueprint reading and technical drawings. Familiarity with TIG welding. Ability to fit and weld pipe. Knowledge of machining processes is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Safety-conscious mindset with a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Pay: $25.00-$27.00 per hour
