About the Role



We're looking for a skilled

Welder/Fitter

with a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for quality craftsmanship. This role involves heavy plate welding, fitting, and installation--both in-shop and on customer sites.

Key Responsibilities



Perform all-position welding using SMAW and FCAW Fit and fabricate heavy plate materials Operate gouging, plasma cutting, and torch cutting tools Safely operate cranes and forklifts Install and assemble heavy equipment attachments on-site Ensure proper fit, function, and quality of components Troubleshoot installation issues Work both in-shop and in the field as needed

Qualifications



Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy plate welding/fitting Valid SMAW and FCAW welding tickets (current or previously held) Strong mechanical repair skills and blueprint reading ability Experience with crane/forklift operation and a valid G class driver's license Comfortable working independently and on customer sites Demonstrated leadership potential and interest in supervisory training
