An 80, 000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility; CWB W47.1 Div. 1, COR and ISO 9001:2015 certified. Safe shop environment offering state of the art automated beam lines featuring high speed carbide drilling, large format band sawing and plasma coping. Shop hours 7:00am to 3:30pm

Moli Industries Ltd is seeking an individual that is reliable, attentive to detail, collaborative, quality and safety minded to join our team in the structural steel manufacturing shop.

The qualified individual is a 3rd Year Welder Apprentice or Journeyman Welder.

Qualifications:

Interprovincial Red Seal or Journeyman Welding ticket from recognized authority 3rd year apprentice - CWB certified 3-5 years related experience in manufacturing shop Safety certifications are an asset.
Daily tasks will include but are not limited to:

Interpreting welding process specifications, resulting in quality welds that meet CWB standards Proficient in analyzing and interpreting drawings, emphasis on precise fittings Preparing material for welding Performing welding equipment maintenance Inspecting welds and quality control sign off Supporting training and development of 1st year Welder apprentices Operating overhead cranes Grinding, flame and plasma cutting Maintaining a clean shop Adhering to safety practices Keeping inventory of materials
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
