Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team. This role involves working on various fabrication projects, utilizing advanced welding techniques, and reading detailed blueprints to produce high-quality components. The ideal candidate will have experience with construction sites, sheet metal, and mechanical assembly, ensuring all work adheres to industry standards and safety protocols. This position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment, contributing to diverse fabrication and welding tasks that require precision and technical expertise.

Responsibilities



Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Operate various power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment. Perform MIG (GMAW), TIG (GTAW), FCAW welding, and welding techniques to join metals accurately. Use calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments to ensure precise dimensions in sheet metal and fabricated parts. Cut, shape, assemble, and weld components for ductwork, piping, structural steel, and other metal fabrications. Conduct rigging and crane operations safely when handling heavy materials or assemblies. Follow ASME codes & standards during fabrication processes to ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing floors. Assist in the setup and operation of machinery such as pipe threading equipment or machining tools as needed. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

Requirements



Proven experience in fabrication and welding within construction sites or manufacturing environments. Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW processes, and welding techniques. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and machining tools. Knowledge of rigging operations including crane handling for heavy materials. Mechanical knowledge related to pipe threading, assembly processes, ductwork fabrication, and schematic interpretation. Experience working with sheet metal components and understanding of ASME codes & standards is preferred. Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations during fabrication tasks. Construction site experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential. Ability to work safely in a dynamic environment while adhering to safety protocols related to construction or manufacturing settings. This role requires a dedicated professional capable of producing precise fabrications while maintaining safety standards across diverse projects involving structural steel, piping systems, ductwork, or custom metal assemblies.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$27.00 per hour
