ASDAC CNC Machining Ltd. is adding a new Welder/Fabricator position to our team.

ASDAC has been in business for over 30 years - serving both Canadian and International companies in a variety of industries such as Aerospace, Wineries, Food, Oil & Gas, Robotics, Custom homes and more.

We are currently looking for a Welder/Fabricator to join our team. If you like working in a clean welding environment, working in specialized metal fabrication, enjoy aspects of the construction industry where metal application is required then this is the position for you. We are looking for a fabricator with aluminum and steel TIG welding experience.

The ideal candidate is an individual who is team-oriented, has a positive attitude and a desire to learn. This candidate also possesses the instinct to identify and resolve welding issues and the ability to continuously improve the welding process.

Note: We pay a competitive wage commensurate with experience.

The ideal candidate will have:

- CWB Certification or we will provide training
- 2+ years of experience welding/fabricating (C level welding)
- Ironworking/Structural Metal Fabrication Experience
- TIG welding stainless, steel and aluminum
- MIG & Stick welding experience
- Ability to interpret drawings
- Project planning and fitting skills
- Good measuring skills
- Good deburring and finishing skills

Local travel with shop vehicle may be required for this position. Work week may vary between a five day 8 hour work week or 4 day 10 hour work week depending on the needs of the customer. A valid driver license is required.

This is a full time, permanent position. A history of working with assembly of tight tolerance components and high finish requirements is an asset. Experience in the construction industry is an asset.
