Ideal candidates will have experience in various welding techniques and the ability to fabricate and build components according to specifications. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties

Fabricate metal components using various welding techniques. Operate and maintain various power tools and machinery. Use measuring tools such as calipers to ensure accuracy in dimensions and specifications. Perform routine inspections of completed work to ensure quality standards are met. Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve production efficiency.

Qualifications

Minimum 4-5 years proven work experience as a MIG Welder, with a strong understanding of welding techniques and fabrication processes. Experience in building metal structures is advantageous. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety practices in the workplace.
A valid CWB ticket is required.

Candidates must have their own transportation; steel-toed safety boots mandatory - all other PPE (helmet, gloves) will be supplied on-site. There will be no weld testing conducted. Suitable candidates will be assigned to start work immediately - same day or next day.
