For more than 45 years, Mormak Equipment has been helping quarry and mine owners meet their targets with the most durable, functional and powerful aggregate equipment in western Canada. Based in the beautiful Okanagan Valley in Vernon, BC, we are looking to add to our experienced team and would like to hear from a qualified welder/fabricator interested in helping us build our business further. Applicants should have a strong work ethic, be a self-starter and produce work of a high quality and have great attention to detail.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a Full-Time Experienced Welder/Fabricator.

Main Responsibilities:

Welding / Fabrication. Read and build from fabrication drawings, both 2D and 3D. Plant construction of crushing and screening equipment. Installation of rollers, pulleys, idlers, gear boxes, and hydraulics.
Requirements:

CWB Certification. 5+ years of Welding Experience, stick and wire welding required. Forklift operator certified is an asset but not a requirement. Level 1 First Aid. POSITIVE ATTITUDE and willingness to be a team player MANDATORY. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and be able to weld in multiple physical positions. Safety equipment will be required to be worn, e.g. coveralls, steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, ear protection, respirator, face shield, welding helmet, gloves etc. Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
