Job Description

Carreiro Fabrication Ltd. is a locally owned and operated welding/fabrication shop just outside of Strathroy. We are a Custom Metal fabrication shop that is always designing and developing new and creative projects. In conjunction with welding, forming/bending, CNC Plasma cutting of parts, metal signage and general agricultural repairs.

We are looking to expand our team and are looking for an experienced Welder/fabricator to assist in our unique welding fabricating shop and help us fill our orders. This position is full-time, 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday to Friday.

Have profusion knowledge and understanding of welding processes such as Mig, Tig and stick. Able to weld aluminum and stainless is a must.

Able to read basic drawings, and capable to use shop hand tools and comfortable using them.

Follow instructions well, so that you can work independently with no need for constant supervision. Valid drivers licence with excellent driving record.

Operate metal shaping machines such as CNC brake press, CNC Shear, CNC plasma table and other metal straightening and bending machines Operate metal cleaning equipment such as sanders, deburrers and grinders, pneumatic tools to remove excess welds, rust, scale and other material from metal.

Repair worn parts or create new ones. Grind and buff seams, joints, and rough surfaces. Must be able to read a tape measure.

Duties subject to change, employee may perform other related duties to meet ongoing needs of work. Pay rate based on experience and work knowledge.

Must reside in Canada already and set up to work in Canada already. In person interview is a must.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
