Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials and tools. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a manufacturing environment.

Duties

Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials, ensuring strong and precise welds. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to fabricate components accurately. Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery including press brake machines and plasma cutters. Utilize calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure precision in fabrication tasks. Assemble parts and components according to specifications, ensuring quality standards are met. Conduct rigging operations safely when lifting heavy materials using cranes or forklifts. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while meeting deadlines.

Requirements

Proven experience in welding and fabrication within a manufacturing or construction environment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics. Familiarity with ductwork assembly and installation is a plus. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is preferred but not required. Experience with machining processes is advantageous. Attention to detail, strong work ethic, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
