Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and be proficient in various fabrication techniques. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for producing high-quality metal components that meet specifications and standards.

Duties

Utilize machining techniques, including plasma cutting, to shape metal components accurately. Operate hand tools and equipment such as welders, calipers, and forklifts safely and effectively. Perform welding tasks on various materials, ensuring strong and precise welds. Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve fabrication processes.

Experience

Proven experience in fabrication and welding is preferred. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic math calculations related to measurements and angles. Familiarity with rigging techniques for moving heavy materials is advantageous. Experience operating manlifts, working with cranes Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
