Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to work effectively in a construction or manufacturing environment. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards. Fabricate components using hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters. Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and requirements. Conduct rigging operations safely and efficiently when moving heavy materials or equipment. Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored after use.

Experience

Previous experience in a fabrication or welding role is required, particularly in manufacturing settings. Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, and other welding techniques is essential. Familiarity pipe threading and pipe fitting is required. Experience operating forklifts and cranes is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
