Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves working on construction sites and in manufacturing environments, where precision and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG, TIG, and FCAW welding on various materials including sheet metal and ductwork. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and ASME codes & standards to ensure accurate assembly and fabrication of components. Conduct pipe threading, rigging, and assembly of fabricated parts as required. Operate cranes and forklifts safely to move materials around the worksite. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards. Assist with welding and assembly of structural components for baseball field backstops, dugouts, and other sports-field structures. This position involves working outdoors on active construction sites, performing accurate and high-quality welds on brace posts, steel frames, and custom components.

Experience

Proven experience in welding and fabrication within construction or manufacturing settings is preferred. Familiarity with mechanical knowledge, basic math skills, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools is essential. Experience with machining, soldering, ductwork installation, and assembly processes is a plus. Ability to work effectively in a team environment while demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
