Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components according to specifications. This role requires proficiency in welding, blueprint reading, and the ability to operate various machinery and tools. The Fabricator/Welder will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products.

Duties

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project specifications. Fabricate metal components by cutting, shaping, and assembling materials using welding techniques. Operate welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welders, to join metal parts securely. Use hand tools and machinery such as calipers, grinders, and saws to prepare materials for assembly. Assemble finished products or subassemblies according to engineering designs. Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure adherence to specifications and standards. Operate forklifts safely to move materials around the worksite as needed. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience in welding and fabrication processes is essential. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Familiarity with machining processes is a plus. Proficient in using calipers and other measuring tools for precision work. Experience operating forklifts and rigging equipment safely is preferred. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00-$40.01 per hour
