About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced

Welder

Fabricatorwith

3+ years of experience

in fitting and welding

structural steel components

such as beams, columns, and frames. This is a

night shift position

, ideal for candidates who are comfortable working independently during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret

blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols

. Lay out, fit, and assemble

structural steel members

(beams, columns, frames). Perform tack welding and welding using

MIG, Stick, or Flux-core methods

. Verify dimensions, alignment, and fit-up to meet specifications. Operate fabrication equipment such as torches, grinders, drills, and saws. Maintain weld quality and adhere to safety standards. Collaborate with supervisors and team members to ensure project accuracy.

Qualifications:

Minimum

3 years of proven experience

as a Welder Fitter. Strong knowledge of

structural steel fitting and welding techniques

. Proficiency in welding methods (MIG, Stick, FCAW). Ability to read and interpret structural/fabrication drawings. CWB certification (or equivalent) is an asset. Ability to work independently and efficiently on the night shift.
