We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires proficiency in various welding techniques and familiarity with different tools and machinery used in the manufacturing process. The Fabricator/Welder will be responsible for producing high-quality components while ensuring safety and efficiency in all operations.
Responsibilities
Fabricate and weld components according to specifications and blueprints.
Operate MIG and TIG welding equipment to join metal parts.
Utilize plasma cutting tools for shaping materials as needed.
Perform machining tasks using hand tools, power tools, and press brake machines.
Conduct assembly of parts and ensure proper fitment and alignment.
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Utilize calipers and basic math skills for precise measurements.
Operate forklifts and cranes safely to move materials around the work area.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to meet production goals efficiently.
Requirements
Proven experience in welding, fabrication, or manufacturing environments.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Proficiency in rigging techniques for safe lifting of heavy materials.
Familiarity with ductwork fabrication is a plus.
Ability to operate various tools including hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely.
Excellent blueprint reading skills with attention to detail for accurate work execution.
Basic math skills for measurement calculations are essential.
Strong commitment to safety practices within the workplace.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Able to travel for work is essential.
Must have valid passport.
Valid drivers licence.
Working at heights training is an asset.
Elevated platform training is an asset.
Confined spaces training is an asset.
Forklift training is an asset.

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
