We are looking for a production welder to join our Kitchener team.

C&H Fire Suppression Systems Inc. is a family owned, privately held company founded in 1985. We provide complete turn-key fire protection sprinkler systems and services to the industrial, commercial, institutional, and residential sectors of Ontario's construction industry, specializing in design-build projects.

This union position involves fabricating outlets onto steel pipe to supply product for our fire sprinkler system installers. Welds must withstand 200 psi of water pressure.

Qualifications:

Must be a certified welder with at least 1-year experience. Able to read and understand sprinkler system diagrams. Able to prioritize projects and meet production deadlines. Must adhere to, implement, and always follow safety guidelines and procedures. Professional attitude and ability to work closely and communicate well with coworkers and other trades as required.

Hours & Compensation:

Union-based hourly wage of $35.89 per hour plus vacation pay, paid weekly. Four 10-hour days per week as per union standards. All work to be conducted from our heated facility in Kitchener, Ontario.
