We specialize in manufacturing top quality pulp/paper and sawmill equipment, structural steel, and custom metal fabrications in various applications for the past 35 years. Duties & Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Efficiently and accurately fabricate and weld metal component using flux core and metal core welding techniques. \xc2\xb7 Read, interpret, and execute fabrication and assembly of metal structures and components based on blueprint specifications. \xc2\xb7 Perform quality control inspection on finished work to identify and correct any defects. \xc2\xb7 Maintain a neat and tidy work environment. \xc2\xb7 Adhere to all safety standards and safe work procedures in the workplace. \xc2\xb7 Operate overhead crane (training will be provided) \xc2\xb7 Experience with hand tools and stationary tools, such as grinders, drills, chop saws, etc. \xc2\xb7 Use and maintain shop equipment and tools. \xc2\xb7 Communicate in an efficient and positive manner with fellow team members and staff. Qualifications: \xc2\xb7 Metal Core welding experience. \xc2\xb7 Level C and/or B Welding ticket (Advantageous) \xc2\xb7 2-3 years of work experience in the fabrication/manufacturing industry preferred.
