Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing operations, contributing to the production of high-quality products.

Duties

Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project requirements. Utilize hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters for fabrication tasks. Assemble components and structures as per design specifications. Conduct rigging activities for lifting heavy materials using cranes or forklifts safely. Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to improve processes and product quality.

Requirements

Proven experience in welding and fabrication within a manufacturing or construction environment. Proficiency in MIG welding, TIG welding, and plasma cutting techniques. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in machining and assembly processes. Familiarity with ductwork fabrication is a plus. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. Competence in using calipers, hand tools, power tools, and other relevant equipment. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Experience with rigging practices and operating cranes or forklifts is desirable. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
