We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various welding techniques and fabrication processes, with a focus on quality and precision. This role is critical in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of craftsmanship and safety. The Fabricator/Welder will work closely with blueprints and schematics to create components for various projects, including ductwork and construction applications.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine project specifications.
Perform MIG and TIG welding on various materials, ensuring strong and precise welds.
Operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as press brake machines and plasma cutters.
Utilize mechanical knowledge to assemble components accurately according to specifications.
Conduct rigging operations safely when moving heavy materials or equipment.
Use calipers and basic math skills to measure dimensions and ensure accuracy in fabrication.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining quality standards.
Troubleshoot issues with equipment or processes as they arise.
Qualifications
Proven experience in welding and fabrication within a manufacturing or construction environment.
Proficiency in MIG welding; TIG welding experience is a plus.
Familiarity with machining processes and the operation of forklifts is desirable.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and power tools effectively.
Experience in reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings is essential.
Knowledge of ductwork fabrication techniques is beneficial.
Ability to perform rigging tasks safely and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
