We are seeking a skilled

Welder/Fabricators

to join our team.

This is for our dayshift which is Monday to Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm.

As a Fabricator/Welder at JBS Equipment, you will play a key role in crafting our high-performance manure spreaders and other agricultural machinery.

We specialize in MIG welding with mild steel, combining precision welding with hands-on fabrication to create durable, reliable equipment that meets the demands of our customers worldwide.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding on metal parts and assemblies according to detailed work orders, blueprints, or specifications. Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG welders and other fabrication tools. Ensure all work meets JBS Equipment's high standards for precision and quality. Troubleshoot and resolve any welding-related issues that arise during production. Operate fabrication machinery and tools safely and efficiently. Monitor and maintain welding equipment to ensure proper operation. Help ensure the team meets production quotas and deadlines.

Requirements

3-5+ years of professional experience in and fabrication. Advanced ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, work orders, and specifications. Advanced ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, work orders, and specifications. Strong skills in welding, cutting, and assembling metal components. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings. Ability to measure, cut, shape, and join metal components with expert skill. Set up and operate a variety of fabrication machines, including saws, presses, shears, and welding equipment. Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with industry safety standards and best practices.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift and carry heavy materials. Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise welding tasks. Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

The starting wage ranges from $27-$33 per hour. However, with experience, company growth, and tenure, there is potential for higher earnings.
