Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabricator/Welder to join team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication processes, with the ability to interpret blueprints. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse metal fabrication projects including but not limited to handrails & guardrails, stair stringers, structural steel columns & beams. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of welding systems and safety procedures to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to industry standards.

Duties

Perform MIG and TIG welding on various metal components, ensuring precision and structural integrity Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for fabrication projects Operate power tools, hand tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment Use calipers and basic math skills to measure materials accurately for cutting and assembly Rigging materials safely for lifting or positioning using cranes or forklifts as needed Cut, shape, and assemble metal parts for out site , machinery, or construction applications Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and proper equipment handling

Experience

Proven experience in welding (MIG and TIG) within a manufacturing or construction environment Mechanical knowledge of machinery, tools, and fabrication techniques Familiarity with crane operation, forklift handling, and rigging procedures is preferred Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Experience with plasma cutting, press brake machines, hand tools, power tools, and schematics is highly desirable Basic math skills necessary for precise measurements and calculations during fabrication processes Knowledge of ductwork installation or construction projects is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $21.00-$38.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
