Journeyman/woman Welder

Responsibilities

General Fabrication and Welding of Custom NWC Decks General Fabrication and Welding Competent with Mig/Stick/Tig Able to weld both Steel and Aluminum in both Mig/Tig Read and Interpret schematics Operate forklift and overhead cranes Ensure cleanliness throughout the shop Mechanically inclined

Safety

Ensure that site safety measures meet or exceed the parameters set out by the Health and Safety manual Promote a positive safety culture with a target for zero incidents Attend daily toolbox meeting

Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications & Experience

3+ years of experience as a WELDER is required Fabricating experience is an asset Must have valid apprenticeship with Alberta and Industry Training or Journeyman Red Seal/ Interprovincial Certification Attention to detail, with the ability to recognize discrepancies Brake/Shear Experience CNC Experience Strong work ethic Consistent punctuality and reliability Ability to maintain positive working relationships with others, both internally and externally Any experience or interest in learning to operate plasma or waterjet table would be considered an asset Mechanic Skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $27.00-$48.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
