Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our manufacturing team. We are not looking for anyone trained in the Oilfield as we do not build or manufacture for the Oil & Gas industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components with precision and attention to detail. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in welding and fabrication processes in a busy high volume shop. The position involves working with various tools and materials to produce high-quality parts and assemblies.

Responsibilities

Perform MIG welding and other welding techniques on various metals to meet project specifications. Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components. Read technical drawings and blueprints to determine dimensions and welding requirements. Fabricate parts and structures by cutting, bending, and assembling metal pieces accurately. Conduct quality checks on welds and fabricated components to ensure compliance with safety standards and specifications. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in the assembly of finished products, ensuring proper fit and finish of all components. Must be fluent in verbal and written ENGLISH. Must be available for an interview.

Qualifications

Proven experience in MIG welding, with a strong understanding of timelines and deadlines. Proficiency in obtaining from steel inventory materials required from a blueprint to complete an assigned task (This is not a "assemble only" position) Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment used in metalworking. Fluent in reading technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately. Mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with attention to detail and safety protocols. Minimum of 5 years experience in fabrication or welding roles is highly desirable. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
