Job Description

Are you a welder with MIG and to experience seeking a full-time, permanent position in the Richmond, BC area?
Are you proficient in doing ARC/Stick welding?
Would you like the opportunity to enhance your thin gauge welder skills working in the high precision, in the waste and recycling industry that offers overtime?

Working in a reputable company that operates in a large facility, the designated welder will be eligible to receive the following benefits:

What are we looking for? Generally speaking, the following are listed below - but feel free to apply even if you don't meet all of these, and we will help you find your dream job!
- Previous experience with TIG welding in a manufacturing environment (must)
- Able to read, write, and speak English - and shop drawings of course!
- Ability to use hand tools and measuring devices including sheer, grinder, angle finder and torch Cutting experience
- A positive attitude and willingness to help where needed in the shopping

Responsibilities
Your day-to-day duties will consist of the following:

- Repair equipment using TIG and MIG welding
- Weld metal components (mostly aluminum and stainless steel) into assemblies and sub-assemblies
- Clean welded parts by grinding when necessary
- Ability to use hand tools and measuring devices including sheer, grinder, angle finder
- A positive attitude and willingness to help where needed in the shopping

Qualifications
- Preferred high school education and at least 2 to 3 years in TIG / MIG welding processes.
- Knowledgable with hand/power tools
