Job Description

Split-fire Sales, a manufacturer of Log Splitters, Woodchippers and custom products is looking for a candidate to fill a welding position. Split-fire is a manufacturing company that produces quality equipment so the candidate must have an eye for quality and must be willing to learn new techniques and technologies.

Responsibilities:

Fit, Weld and Sand log splitter assemblies. ?Fit, Weld and Sand woodchipper and log bucket assemblies. Program, operate robot welder and laser guidance as required. Maintain a safe and clean work area. ?Complete tasks on time while maintaining quality. Work safely with proper PPE. Physical ability to lift 80 lbs. Help team members move and weld parts when needed.
Requirements:

Good time management and organizational skills. Ability to spot imperfections, and fix accordingly. ?Communication and interpersonal skills. Team player with both office and manufacturing staff. ?Self-motivated with a results-driven approach. ?Problem-solving skills. ?Good attention to detail and quality.
Required Experience:

?Welding experience not required - any experience an asset and wage will reflect experience. (We are willing to train new welders as needed).

?Compensation:

$26 - $30 wage plus bonuses (Based on experience and competency) Scrap Metal Bonus + Christmas Bonus Paid Sick Days Health Benefits
