Job Description

Mid-Island Fence Products Ltd. (A division of Tower Fence Products) is currently looking for an experienced welder to join our team.

This position requires a B level or equivalent experience, and a class 5 drivers license. No previous fencing experience required.

The applicant should have a good attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to branch out to learn new skills required to accomplish a multitude of tasks.

Rate of pay negotiable dependent on experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Fabricate Chain link, Ornamental and other metal gate frames, modified posts, applicable fence components, and special orders.

- Build hand/guard rails

- Support fence installers in yard and in field.

- Safe operation of forklift and skid steer equipment

- Safe operation of trucks and trailers

- Picking and preparing supply only orders.

- Maintaining a safe and organized shop and equipment.

- Shipping and receiving.

- Maintaining valid welding and safety certificates.
