We are looking for a Welder Journeyperson (Maintainer Operator Mechanical) for several different departments, who will ensure that maintenance activities are safely carried out to fixed plant, and associated assets, in a safe and efficient manner. The work schedule varies based on department assigned.
This is a great opportunity for a driven and safety-oriented individual to contribute to the IOC maintenance team.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and working in an exciting and unique environment within the Iron Ore Company of Canada, you will be:
Participate actively in company safety systems and initiatives
Demonstrate a safe work record resulting from a proactive approach to safety
Contribute to improvement ideas and solutions in the workplace

A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team;
High school diploma or GED equivalent;
Valid Class 5 driver\xe2\x80\x99s license;
Journeyperson Welder certificate (or Inter-provincial, if out-of-Province applicant);
Experience in an industrial environment;
Self-starter, energetic, committed to achieving results
Possess a highly flexible approach to work
Team membership skills including the ability to work well in a team environment
