Job Description

Looking for a mature individual, current student and/or recent graduate of a post secondary welding program to assist in a fabrication shop. Individual will ideally have hands on experience working in a manufacturing environment. Loading, unloading, lifting, and moving of materials and product will be required.
Other mandatory tasks may include maintaining a clean work area, ensuring the shop area remains clean and organized, grinding, cutting, deburring, spatter removal, sand blasting and powder coating of welded assemblies and other duties as assigned. Must have a valid G class drivers license, and be comfortable driving company vehicle to make deliveries if needed. This is an entry position with an opportunity to grow, ideal for a mechanically inclined individual who enjoys hands on tasks. Day to day activities would typically include cleaning shop, loading and unloading steel onto horizontal bandsaw, operating band saw, deburring parts, cleaning laser cut parts, MIG welding of mild steel, sand blasting parts, powder coating parts and preparing/packaging finished goods for shipping. Experience is not required for all tasks, we are seeking an individual with a desire to learn, training will be provided as necessary. Please note that only successful candidates will be contacted.
